Mission Statement
Free a Girl Global was founded to strengthen the global mission of Free a Girl: to end the sexual exploitation of children through rescue operations, legal prosecution of perpetrators, and recovery programs for survivors.

Based in Amsterdam, Free a Girl Global acts as a strategic and fundraising hub for global impact. It is also the license holder of the Free a Girl brand. Both Free a Girl Netherlands and Free a Girl USA receive funding from Free a Girl Global. The foundation itself does not execute projects but focuses solely on fundraising.

The foundation also monitors the global protection and consistent, high-quality representation of the ‘Free a Girl’ concept and associated brands by licensed holders. It aims to implement and maintain brand protection measures and support the licensees with guidelines and tools to ensure a unified international appearance.

Team
Free a Girl Global works with a team of dedicated freelancers who are hired for specific fundraising events or campaigns. In 2024, there were no employees on payroll.
Policies and Compliance
Free a Girl complies with the Dutch accounting guidelines RJ650 and RJ640 for non-profit organizations.

Financial Information
In 2024, Free a Girl Global reported total revenues of €551,946 and a net positive result of €191,511. These results were achieved through events, private and institutional donations. €141,511 was allocated to the earmarked reserve and €50,000 to the continuity reserve.
